Landmark reached on 50 apps built for brands including Time Magazine and CNN Money.
Polar's SMART platform enables businesses such as magazine publishers, TV networks and so on to launch custom-branded mobile apps that are faster to access than browsing through traditional mobile websites.
The milestone of 50 apps and one million end-users was passed in just over 18 months: the first customer was Canada's Rogers Media in February 2008.
