Oceanhouse sells 1m iPhone apps

Dr Seuss and The Berenstain Bears help eBooks publisher to landmark.

In two years, Oceanhouse has released more than 150 apps ranging in price from $0.99 to $15.99.

Titles include Dr. Seuss's ABC; The Cat in the Hat; Green Eggs and Ham; The Berenstain Bears and the Golden Rule; and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

The company has held the number one spot in Kids Games with Grinchmas! and in Finance with Money, and the Law of Attraction.

Michel Kripalani, founder and president of Oceanhouse, said: “2010 was a milestone year for Oceanhouse Media and we foresee 2011 being just as active, with more than 100 'omBooks' being released as well as dozens of other apps across the Books, Education, Photography, Health & Fitness, and Finance categories.”
