22nd October will see debut of Nokia's first netbook.
Nokia has confirmed that Germany will be the first country to get its new Booklet 3G netbook, with a launch on 22nd October.
What's more, it will have an operator partner from day one. O2 will be selling the device for €249, although there's some confusion about the monthly tariff pricing.
The Nokia Conversations blog says users will pay €20 a month over 24 months, but that there is "also an optional flat rate data tariff of €25 per month".
We're not sure if that means the basic tariff offers capped data and that users pay €5 more to go unlimited, or that the €25 is additional - i.e. €45 a month for unlimited data.
It's good news for Nokia that it's got an operator to reduce the initial price of the netbook, though. However, German users will be comparing the cost of the Booklet 3G over 24 months with other netbook+tariff deals.
