Like OpenFeint, its user numbers soared over the festive season.
Social mobile gaming platform Scoreloop signed up more than 1.3 million new users across iOS and Android over the Christmas period.
The company says its new user signups spiked by 209% on Christmas Day compared to its November average.
What's more, Scoreloop's virtual currency revenues jumped by 216% over the holiday season too.
"This holiday season, consumers made it more clear than ever their interest in smartphones and appetite for mobile games," says CEO Marc Gumpinger.
"The 216% jump in virtual currency sales we have seen is just one of the indicators that this will be the year where the freemium and micro-transaction business model really takes off."
Last week, rival startup OpenFeint revealed its own Christmas spike, signing up 1.4 million users over the four-day Christmas holiday, with new user signups climbing by 184% on Christmas Day itself.
Both companies' figures are useful, because their platforms are installed in a wide range of iOS and Android games - meaning that their Christmas boosts are representative of a general increase in smartphone gaming.
