Novarra has launched a streaming video service for 3 Hong Kong.
Its Vision Internet Platform lets users select and watch millions of videos from the web, using their existing handsets. It uses real time transcoding to deliver a ‘PC-quality’ experience and reduction in network bandwidth. Access to sites like YouTube and Facebook is available at launch on 25 handsets.The video service will be included in the new 3Xplorer 2.0 package, a premium offering priced at HK$10 on top of the 3Xplorer service which is offered at HK$28 per month.
