It's now the "flagship phone" for Nokia's unlimited music service.

Nokia has started selling its X6 music handset in selected markets, with a pre-subsidy price of 450 Euros, including a 12-month Comes With Music licence.

The company is now describing the X6 as "the Nokia Comes With Music Flagship phone", taking over from the popular 5800 XpressMusic (although that's still available).

The X6 has been causing a buzz ever since its announcement at the Nokia World conference earlier this year, due to it being the first Nokia handset to sport an iPhone-style capacitive touchscreen, rather than the resistive one seen in the 5800.

"The Nokia X6 Comes With Music edition is a stellar offering, that gives music fans the power to download all the music they could ever want - quickly, easily and for free," says Nokia's smartphones VP Ole Feddersen.

Despite the recent announcement that Nokia is winding down its N-Gage service, it seems games are also a key feature on the X6. It will ship with three embedded titles from EA and Gameloft.
