Smaller, cuter version of flagship smartphone pitched at younger users.
Anssi Vanjoki, Nokia's EVP of markets, unveiled the new device to a ripple of admiring applause from the Nokia World 2009 audience. It will cost 450 euros.
He said the phone would sport new homescreen widgets, 8GB of storage, a 3.2-inch touchscreen and full QWERTY keyboard in a 14.2mm thin frame.
It’s also the first Nokia device to support Lifecasting with Ovi – in league with Facebook.
Lifecasting enables users to update their Facebook status and location directly from the device’s homescreen.
