Mexican operator's customers will be able to access the app store via the N97 'later this year'.
América Móvil is the first operator in the region to announce the roll-out of a Latin America-wide offering of the Ovi Store to its customers.
The Ovi Store service will be available to América Móvil customers through the N97 and by accessing the store directly at store.ovi.com.
The agreement is part of a partnership between América Móvil and Nokia in the area of services to help meet the growing demand for mobile data services in the region.
To date, this partnership has encompassed Nokia Messaging, Comes with Music and Nokia Maps.
