Nokia wants 'feel good' apps

Calling All Innovators contest seeking out eco-conscious, life-improving content, with the help of Sesame Workshop

Forum Nokia has outlined the brief for its Calling All Innovators 2010 developer challenge, for which it has secured the backing the Sesame Workshop - makers of the Sesame Street TV show.

Calling All Innovators 2010 comprises four categories for app submissions: Eco/Being Green; Productivity; Life Improvement; and Entertainment.

Forum Nokia has teamed up with Sesame Workshop for the education subcategory of life improvement to encourage developers to create and offer apps to teach early literacy on Nokia devices.

Sesame Workshop will offer guidance during the judging process and work with select developers to further enhance relevant projects.
