Live View searches the Ovi Places directory to find all the points of interest around you.
The app is available from Nokia's pre-commercial trial site Betalabs, and offers all the usual features expected from a location-centric AR browser.
On the top left of the screen there are categories to search by including local information, places to eat and so on.
Clicking through lets users click to call, share information, see maps and more. It's all done by interrogating the Ovi Places directory.
There's nothing new here for anyone who's used Layar and other AR browsers, but the adoption of the tech by Nokia should help popularise the tech.
