Marco Argenti to examine the creation of ‘Hyper Local App Economies’ at the MEF's big event next week.
MEF Americas: Mobile Content & Commerce is a two day gathering for key players in North and Latin America’s content ecosystems.
Day one will be kicked off by Nokia in the month that the Finnish firm embarks on its new era as a WinPho device maker. Argenti's session will look at the social and commercial potential of location based apps.
On the second day, the focus will be on mobile commerce, with Sprint's SVP of consumer marketing, John Carney giving a keynote on 'Mobile Commerce and Alternative Financial Services to the Underbanked – Big Need, Big Opportunity and Ready Now'.
There will also be a presentation by InMobi on findings from its latest research on the role of mobile in holiday shopping and consumer perceptions of m-commerce.
Overall, the event gives attendees the chance to take part in keynotes, panel discussions, interactive sessions and open networking.

And there'll be the chance to absorb plenty of case studies from the content, finance, retail and brand verticals.
