Nokia switches on universal log-ins for Ovi

Only one user-name and password now required to access to all services.

Nokia has finally switched on a universal log-in feature across its Ovi internet services offering, encompassing Maps, N-Gage, Share and Music Store.

Reuters said the company sent out a note to Ovi users at the weekend, which read: “We are pleased to announce that as part of improving your experience with Share on Ovi, we have merged our sign-in system with Ovi.com. This is a key step in integrating Ovi."

Nokia reckons it will be earning $2.79 billion annually from internet services by 2011.
