Handset available online for £399 SIM-free ahead of June 19th UK store date.
It's the first Nokia device to feature an 8 megapixel camera and will also be available through Carphone Warehouse, free with certain contracts, from June 19th until mid-July, after which it will be available from O2, 3UK, Orange and T-Mobile.
In terms of spec, the N86 features a wide-angle Carl Zeiss lens and a variable aperture, which Nokia says will give users sharper photos in low light, and wide-angle (28mm) optics.
It's also the first Nokia handset to come pre-loaded with Nokia Maps 3.0, which offers 3D and satellite mapping, enhanced pedestrian navigation, including birds eye views of tourist landmarks.
Ovi Store is also pre-loaded as Nokia continues its fightback against iPhone and the App Store.
The Finnish company is set to launch its flagship N97 on June 19th too.
