Successor to the 6300 packs GPS and a five megapixel camera.
The device is available to pre-order in the UK from today at Nokia's online store priced at £269.00 SIM free, and will be available from other operator and retail partners from June 26th.
Among the headline specs are a five megapixel camera, assisted GPS navigation with Nokia Maps and HSPDA connectivity. It will also include embedded links to Ovi, Facebook and Flickr.
Mark Loughran, Managing Director at Nokia UK, said: “The Nokia 6700 is set to be one of our biggest selling devices for 2009 taking its style from our premium devices and incorporating expert functionality it will redefine what is expected from a mid range device making it a worthy successor to the Nokia 6300.”
