Finnish handset maker boosted by devices agreement with China PTAC.
China PTAC has agreed to buy $1.76 billion worth of handsets from Nokia in 2009.
In addition, both parties have agreed to expand strategic ties with regard to 3G and operator business.
PTAC is one of China's largest mobile handset distributors. The deal will be a considerable boost to Nokia, which has been cutting costs recently in the wake of falling sales.
In a statement Nokia said: "[Nokia and PTAC] enjoy a long-standing partnership that continues to strengthen. This new partnership agreement marks another significant milestone for both parties."
