Phones will soon be controlling everything in our homes. Or so Nokia hopes.
Nokia is pitching its Home Control Center as the basis for next generation security, smart home solutions and household energy management systems. All solutions based on the platform can be used through a smartphone or PC, locally or remotely.
The Blurb says users will be able to control their electricity usage, switch devices on and off, and monitor different objects, such as temperature, camera, and motion.
In future, Nokia says entire systems within the home could be connected to its platform, including security, heating and ventilation systems.
No word yet on whether it comes bundled with mobile games.
