Going up against Kindle and iBooks with its new service for Lumia phones.
Nokia Reading is bith a reader and a store and offers new releases and thousands of classics available for free.
The app uses a special reading tech called ClearBlack Display, which reduces reflections on the screen, and employs Microsoft’s ClearType technology to render fonts cleanly.
Naturally, given that the app works on WinPho, users can pin their favourite titles to the homescreen.
Not too many details on products and pricing yet, but Nokia Reading will roll out on a country-by-country basis from this week on the Nokia Lumia 900, 800, 710, and 610.
The initial launch countries are France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain and the UK. Others will follow over the rest of the year.
