On Nokia's online store, with operators and retailers following on 1 October.
Nokia has announced that its highly-touted N8 smartphone will go on sale in the UK in the last week of September from the company's own online store.
It will cost £429 SIM-free. However, other channels will start selling the phone on 1 October on monthly contracts starting from £35.
Nokia says O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Three, Virgin Mobile and Vodafone will all be selling the N8, along with Carphone Warehouse, Phones4u and Tesco.
"The Nokia N8 is a great multitasker, packed with market leading innovations, which include the best picture and video capability available on a smartphone," says UK general manager Mark Loughran.
Nokia is hoping for big things from the N8, which will be its new flagship smartphone, and its first to run the new version of the Symbian OS.
