Nokia’s embedded mobile search app has been updated to trawl for content stored on the device itself.
The Finnish giant confirmed that its own application can search for locally-stored items including emails, text messages, calendar entries, videos, music files and more. This is in addition to its core Internet search function. Nokia works with over 20 partners from around the world in over 40 languages to deliver the original solution.Ralph Eric Kunz, VP of multimedia experiences at Nokia, said: “Nokia Mobile Search has proven to be a hit with people who want access to information and services at their fingertips and now we're bringing that same ease of use to search for content you already have on your Nokia device,"
Nokia Mobile Search with My Content search supports the Nokia N95, Nokia N93i, Nokia N93, Nokia N92, Nokia N91, Nokia N91 8GB, Nokia N80 Internet Edition, Nokia N80, Nokia N76, Nokia N73 Music Edition, Nokia N71, Nokia E70, Nokia E62, Nokia E61, Nokia E60 and Nokia 3250 devices. It’s available as a free download for compatible devices.
