That's the latest eyebrow-raising stat from the Gofresh-owned social network.
More specifically, almost 55 per cent of newbies to the Itsmy.com mobile-only social network (registered between mid-July and mid-August 2009) started their experience by playing games with other users.
The average gamer on itsmy.com has 21 opponents per game and he or she plays three to five games simultaneously.
Overall, 96 per cent of all itsmy.com users play mobile social games. At the last count the network had 2.5 million users across the US and Europe.
Fifty-one per cent play against whoever is online and 61 per cent make new friends while playing.
Six of the top 10 players on itsmy.com in July were women. To enter the top 10 users have to play a minimum of 10,000 mini games in a couple of weeks.
