Steve Jobs last night unveiled new iPhone features in his Macworld keynote.
The v1.1.3 update now means owners can text more than one person at the same time - now that's what you call cutting edge technology.Edge being the operative word, as there was no news on the expected 3G incarnation of the iPhone, which currently uses GPRS/EDGE for data connectivity.
Other new features include the ability to triangulate the user's position on maps using the power of wi-fi hotspots.
Apple has also introduced something called 'web clips', whereby users can capture a specific part of a webpage, place it on their iPhone homescreen and thus go right back to that spot at the click of a button.
The v1.1.3 update also means iPhone users can watch full-length movies downloaded via a newly-announced section on the iTunes store.
