Hillcrest says design could be used in controllers and mobiles
Hillcrest Labs has developed a technology that combines Bluetooth with motion control, which could be used in devices such as remote controls, mobile phones and PC peripherals.
According to Hillcrest, the technology enables more precise and stable in-air pointing, allowing users to control a cursor from any position and to move around a room while controlling on-screen activities.
The vendor believes the technology is perfectly suited to internet-connected TVs and other devices, which create a need to improve user interfaces for accessing additional content.
