Netsize expands into Russia

mPayment platform can now reach and bill 165 million mobile subscribers in Russia.

Netsize says its mPayment mobile transaction and billing platform now plugs into 25 national and regional mobile operators in Russia

End-user support is provided in local language, in full compliance with Russian operator regulations, says Netsize.

Specifically, the Russian coverage comprises MTS, VimpelCom (Beeline) and MegaFon (which Netsize says represent 84 per cent of the market) and 20 regional operators.

Stanislas Chesnais, chairman and CEO at Netsize, said: "Russia is one of the largest and fastest growing mobile markets in the world and it has a mobile penetration of over 100 per cent. The country will be one of the drivers of continued growth of the company."
