net mobile to handle Mobage in Europe

DeNA closes key distribution deal for its social mobile games network with DOCOMO's Euro subsidiary.

With hindsight this we should have seen this coming. NTT DOCOMO and DeNA (both Japanese) had previously entered into a global alliance to carry and promote Mobage, and it makes sense to extend this to the billing and content specialist that NTT bought in 2009.

net mobile will now provide specific local support for Mobage’s catalog of Android and iOS games, and boost its visibility in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK and Australia.

It will also help with business development to support content acquisition for Mobage.

“net mobile is a critical partner for us in key markets in Europe as well as Asia,” said Neil Young, CEO of ngmoco and director of DeNA.

“We are squarely focused on bringing the best social mobile games to players worldwide, and our alliance with net mobile is an important step in that direction.”
