Apple prepping June launch for mini device, according to manufacturer reports.
The Economic Daily News (via Digitimes) reports that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) and United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) "will likely land chip orders for Apple's low-cost entry-level iPhone nano".Apparently, the chip orders are due in March in advance of a June launch.
There was a flurry of similar rumours floating around before the Macworld events last week, though there was no mention of any plans during Apple's keynote.
