Good news for Booyah.
Foursquare may have hit one million users recently, but rival social location app MyTown has just passed the two million milestone.
According to its developer Booyah, the average player now spends more than one hour a day using MyTown, and 100,000 new users are signing up each week.
The news comes alongside the game's latest update, version 3.1, which is available for iPhone and iPod touch now.
It includes more collectible items for players who check-in at real-world locations, 10 new levels for the game itself, and new lists of the top trending locations, most common check-ins and friends' favourite places.
There's also a new accuracy feature, which shows how close friends were to a location when checking in - something that could dissuade cheats.
