SuperPost looks beyond its own network.
Social networking firm MySpace has launched a new iPhone app... that helps people update their statuses on its biggest rivals.
SuperPost is a free app that has just gone live on the App Store, with the slogan 'Post once, publish everywhere'.
It lets users update their statuses on MySpace, Facebook and Twitter, as well as upload photos and videos.
Photos and videos can be previewed before sending, and the app supports HD video uploads over Wi-Fi connections.
What the app doesn't do is aggregate updates from a user's friends on those other networks - they can only see the history of all the updates that they have posted via the app.

It's an intriguing launch, although in recent months MySpace has been opening up more, helping its users to update their other networks. In that sense, the SuperPost app is a logical spin-off.
