SK Telecom device will let users share multimedia content on tablets, TVs, set-top boxes, Blu-ray players and mobile phones.
The Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) comprises 245 consumer electronics companies with the aim of creating new products that are compatible using open standards and widely available industry specifications.
Its ultimate aim is to enable users to freely share content between these products while giving back some copy protection to content providers.
Myriad’s Connect & Share solution offers operators and OEMs compatibility with DNLA in small memory footprint devices across Windows, Android and Linux.
With this deal, the tech is now embedded into an SK phone.
