Mobile app developers can now download the Streamezzo Software Development Kit (SDK) and gain access, at no cost, to resources such as code samples, tutorials, demo applications and off-the-shelf components.The Streamezzo Platform is a development and runtime framework for the creation and deployment of apps across Android, BlackBerry, BREW, iPhone, Java, Linux, Symbian S60 and Windows Mobile devices.
It consists of a generic runtime client (Rich Media Client) and a J2EE compliant content publishing server (Rich Media Server).
The Streamezzo SDK includes the Streamezzo Workbench (authoring tool based on the Eclipse IDE), Streamezzo Rich Media Server Developer Edition (J2EE compliant mobile application server), Streamezzo Components Library (Music and Video Players, RSS Reader, Picture Slide Show) and the Streamezzo GUI Toolkit (Carousels, progress bars, animation).
