The MEF has a bunch of new board members after elections earlier this week.
The following new board members were elected to the MEF EMEA board: Alberto Ciarniello (Telecom Italia Mobile), Thomas Curwen (Publicis), Ian Henderson (SonyBMG), Emma Kaye (Gate 7), Berna Samiloglu Acar (Turkcell) and Raghu Venkataraman (du).The expanded geographical coverage of the board reflects the chapter’s extended remit which now includes the Middle East and Africa for the first time (see below for full list). Gerard Grech (Orange) and Gerrit-Jan Konijnenberg (Comsys) were both re-elected as Chair and Vice-Chair of the board.
MEF has also attracted new members including: AditOn, Aspiro, Axel Springer, Catalyst Mobile, cVidya, du, Fox Interactive, i-Pop, M-Spot, Maxis, MIG, MovieSeer, Neomobile, One Worldwide, Publicis, Reitek, SanDisk, SharpCards, Shazam, Tata, TIM, Turkcell, Vimpelcom and X5 Music.
