DotMobi has announced DeviceAtlas, the source of handset information for content developers.
It helps developers of all sizes build mobile web applications that adapt to – and are optimised for – the widest possible range of mobile devices with structured, accurate data. dotMobi will offer complimentary browsing of the database, and will provide one free Premium Edition licence to every member of its developer forum.DeviceAtlas allows information to be shared with the global development community and to be updated online. Data can be accessed at no cost via a web-based graphical user interface (GUI) or at an annual fee for an application programming interface (API) which accesses a local copy of the database.
