Social networking giant refreshes mobile site and adds app support for Palm webOS and S60.
MySpace has launched a new, integrated and optimised mobile website (m.myspace.com/wap.myspace.com) for its 20 million global members.The company has also confirmed that it's developing new applications for Nokia's S60 runtime environment (MySpace joined the Symbian Foundation earlier this month) and Palm’s new webOS.
As such, MySpace claims it's the only social network with applications supported across iPhone, Google Android, Sidekick, Nokia, Palm and BlackBerry.
The new mobile site offers the ability to configure email photo upload and has been built upon a fully updated architecture. It is supported in 13 languages and localised for 29 countries.
John Faith, VP and general manager of MySpace Mobile, said: “We want our users to be able to access MySpace from any device. We are committed to building apps for platforms we feel are groundbreaking to offer our users the best possible on-the-go MySpace experience.”
