Mid-sized version of popular tablet could debut in Barcelona.
Samsung could be set to unveil a new eight-inch version of its Galaxy Note tablet at next month’s MWC 2013 in Barcelona.
Mobile Magazine reported that Samsung’s IT and mobile communications chief JK Shin confirmed the mid-sized device in an interview with Korean publication iNews24.
The tablet, which is likely to include Samsung’s S Pen stylus, would go head to head in the market with Apple’s 7.9-inch iPad Mini.
However, while the latest version of the Galaxy Note looks certain to make an appearance at MWC 2013, the Korean manufacturer is set to forgo the Barcelona show for the release of its Galaxy S IV, which is rumoured to be launched on March 4th.
