The partners say incorporating Opera Mini in Brew MP simplifies the process of making a powerful browser available to OEMs.

Opera Mini is well-liked by consumers and operators for its ability to compress data and therefore speed up browsing.

It currently has 90.4 million users worldwide.

"With this agreement, millions more consumers will be able to experience a superior mobile browsing experience that is fast and cost-effective,” said Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software.

Qualcomm's Brew OS is one of the market's most enduring and has recently been reinvented as a mass-market and emerging region option.
