Big push on web-based mobile play by social gaming specialist.
Germany's itsmy (owned by Gofresh) runs one of Europe's biggest mobile social networks, but has recently diversified into social games that run across its network.
It says all possible HTML5 features will be continuously integrated in 2011, and that MP3 sounds, full animations, location, interactive touchscreen gameplay and integrated videos will be available.
Antonio Vince Staybl, CEO of itsmy, said: “Almost all of our mobile browser game developers and studios are pushing in the HTML5 direction and therefore it was a must to go HTML5.
"The mobile HTML5 strategy will make it easier to generate revenues in future and to grow the user base virally.”
