Does this mean we have to call its predecessor the Vivaz Amateur?
Sony Ericsson unveiled its Vivaz smartphone last month, but has now debuted a companion, the Vivaz pro.
As before, HD-quality video is the big selling point, letting people record HD footage and then upload it to sites including YouTube and Picasa via Wi-Fi.
It's also got an 8.1-megapixel camera, and the Facebook, YouTube and Twitter social media chops of the Vivaz.
The big change is a slide-out keyboard, giving consumers a choice of models depending on whether they need physical keys when bashing out emails, tweets and status updates.
"Sony Ericsson Vivaz pro meets the increased consumer demand for QWERTY devices without compromising on any entertainment features," says marketing business manager Daniel Sandblom.

The device goes on sale in Q2 this year.
