One with a keyboard, one without.
You certainly can't accuse Sony Ericsson of being slow to iterate on its new smartphones. The Xperia X10 is barely on sale, but now it's got two little brothers.
The Xperia X10 mini and X10 mini pro are defined as 'ultra-compact' handsets, in the same way that Nokia's N97 spawned the N97 Mini last year.
Both new handsets run Google's Android OS, like their big brother, and will also sport Sony Ericsson's new UX user interface, which the company says is specially designed for smaller devices.
They also include Sony Ericsson's Timescape app, which aggregates texts, calls, Facebook and Twitter updates. There's also an interesting feature in the phones' music player app, with an 'Infinite button' to find extra content from Sony Ericsson's music store and YouTube.
The difference between the two models? The X10 mini pro has a slide-out keyboard, while the x10 mini is touchscreen-only.

"There has been an enormous buzz around Xperia X10 so it is really exciting to be already unveiling compact versions of this powerful proposition.” says EVP and chief creation officer Rikko Sakaguchi.
However, people with big hands aside, who will now buy an Xperia X10, when there are two successors on the way that might be considered to make it look a bit of a chunker?
Both handsets go on sale in Q2.
