30 titles from more than 15 developers to receive funding
Managed by Handmark in partnership with Samsung Ventures and Samsung Electronics, the Global Venture Fund was established to assist companies and/or individuals with the development of innovative ideas for next generation Samsung mobile phones, including the recently announced Samsung Wave.
Samsung and Handmark now selected 30 titles from more than 15 developers to receive funding, including:
- My Little Baby by Raylight
- Glo by Mere Mortals
- Grid by Fishing Cactus
- Polyhedral XL by Binary Hammer
- Aces Texas Hold’em – No Limit by Concrete Software
- TwinBlades by Press Start Studio
Specific funding amount details were not released. However, each selected application listed above was eligible for up to $250,000 in funding.
In addition to the funding provided from the Samsung Global Venture Fund, Handmark will provide assistance with development, testing and certification, as well as distribution of the applications through the Samsung Apps.
