Nokia didn't unveil any new models, but we did find out that Ovi Maps passed 3m downloads in a month.

An insanely packed press event didn't unveil any N901 or N98 devices. Instead, Nokia focused on numerical data.

It trumpeted the success of free mobile satnav, which is now at a download a second. Ovi Maps with  drive and walk navigation launched in late January across 74 countries and 46 languages.

All new Nokia GPS-enabled smartphones will include this service – and its downloadable to most existing models.

Other stats show the average person using Comes With Music downloads 500 free songs in the first few weeks of using the service, which would cost about EUR 450 from iTunes.
