First deployment in Switzerland with Fox Mobile
Muzicall has signed a deal with Fox Mobile Group to deliver Ringback Tones on a direct-to-consumer basis in Switzerland.
The company says this is the first deal of its kind for RBTs, which are usually made available through operator portals.
Musicall says the Fox Mobile deal is the first in a planned series of off-deck rollouts of RBTs with direct-to-consumer providers across Europe.
In July, Muzicall formed a partnership with IMImobile to develop what it called a 'huge opportunity' to grow the European ringback market.
Patrick Allainguillaume, CEO of Muzicall, said: “Until now the popularity of Ringback Tones in Europe has not been maximised because they have only been available on operator portals.

"Now they will be available from the same place where most consumers already buy music, ringtones, games and other mobile content. This will boost consumer awareness of Ringback Tones – and it is proven that when awareness increases so do sales.”
