Dedicated resource to help customers launch marketing campaigns.
The initiative will be led by Lourens de Beer, Muzicall’s newly appointed CMO. The idea is to increase awareness and discovery of ringback tones as well as generate sales and enhance customer retention.
“Lack of awareness is repeatedly cited as one of the reasons why so few consumers in Europe have ringback tones, but we are changing this with innovative marketing and unique content,” said de Beer.
“Muzicall has already invested a significant amount of money in developing bespoke content and marketing campaigns for leading mobile operators in Europe and we will announce new initiatives in the UK, Dutch, Portuguese and Swiss markets in the coming weeks.”
Muzicall’s USP is that its RBT.4.ALL solution sits in the middle of platform providers, operators and retailers with the aim of making ringbacks a cross-network product. It also helps with marketing via schemes such as this.
In the past 12 months it claims to have has grown the number of ringback tone subscribers by more than 300 per cent. Muzicall’s customers include Vodafone, T-Mobile and Orange group companies.

The firm raised €9 Million round of fundraising in November and an additional funding of €2.1 Million in February of this year.
Lourens de Beer was previously MD of Net Mobile UK, and before that CEO of Pitch Entertainment Group (Now Playphone, EMEA).
