Music biz vets launch app company

Ex-universal exec Kim De Ruiter one of the founders of Noise.

The company is described as an app development and digital strategy specialist, and already claims a bunch of A list stars and global music corporation clients, including Vodafone, Universal and Sony Music, Decca, Defected Records and Richer Sounds.

Launch projects include the forthcoming iPad app Time Wheel, which presents the last 50 years of the charts.

In addition, the company will support Vodafone with promotions and retailing opportunities connected to mobile and web activity for its full track download service.

The four execs behind Noise are De Ruiter, Jane Turner (WPP, Havas, Mintel and Chorion), James Coughlan (Vodafone) and Mark White (Expedia).

De Ruiter, EVP of Noise, said: “We are very excited to bring together innovative talent to launch a company that uniquely provides insightful technology and marketing services under one roof.
