Exit Games confirms support for Apple's device and slashes its prices

Germany-based Exit Games has extended the coverage of its real-time and turn-based multiplayer games technologies to include Apple's upcoming iPad, in addition to reducing its pricing.

The company's Neutron and Photon products already support PC, Mac, browser games, J2ME, iPhone and Android.

To re-cap, Neutron is a managed service offering various turn-key features, while Photon is a multiplayer development framework obtainable as licensed software starting at $100.

Both products come with SDKs for Unity3D, Flash, iPhone, Android, Silverlight, .NET, Windows, J2SE & J2ME, Brew and now the iPad.

Chris Wegmann, CTO of Exit Games, said: "The iPad opens a fascinating new product genre and we are sure it provides the same opportunities for developers as the iPhone did and still does. Our products will help developers to take advantage of this new opportunity at lower risk and with a faster time-to-market."
