MTV's mobile traffic soared on Sunday and Monday this week thanks to interest in its annual Video Music Awards (VMAs) event.
The broadcaster racked up 1.2 million mobile views on Sunday - the day of the event - and 1.7 million mobile views on Monday.
That's up 315% and 234% year-on-year respectively.
Meanwhile, 221,000 people visited MTV.com's mobile website on Sunday, generating 32,000 video streams. On Monday, those figures were 197,000 people and 54,000 streams respectively.
The MTV News iPhone app notched up 141,000 user sessions on Sunday - up 133% from its average daily sessions - based on 32,000 active users.
Meanwhile, the MTV News Android app was installed more than 10,000 times in its first three days of availability, having launched on 9 September.
