Mobile Interactive Group prepares for expansion as heavy hitters join advisory board.

MIG has made the following appointments to its advisory board as it prepares for the launch of two more businesses during the next six months:

Simon Guild, former President and CEO of MTV Networks Europe
Matt Cockett, former Head of Music at O2
Paul Samuels, former Head of Sponsorship at O2

MIG says the trio will advise on three areas of its expansion: Broadcast and Digital, Music and Entertainment, and Digital Experience.

There are currently three parts of the MIG business - 4th Screen Advertising (mobile ads), Jigsaw (mobile marketing) and the company's core interactive media platform.

Barry Houlihan, managing director of MIG, said: "The coming six months is an important time for the business – MIG continues to experience exceptional growth and we have plans to launch two further businesses by the end of the calendar year.
