New discovery service will enable users to watch video previews of iPhone apps
Mplayit has launched what it calls a 'playable' app store on Facebook, which essentially provides users with news, reviews and previews of iPhone apps.
The Facebook page shows what Mplayit calls 'apptivity' - stuff that is going on in app stores so users can see which apps are receiving the most downloads, reviews and plays.
In coming weeks, mobile users will also be able to view the apptivity within their social network so they can see which apps their friends and family are most interested in.
Mplayit expects to add playable discovery for Android, BlackBerry and other smartphone platforms in the coming months.
