Mobile apps discovery service Mplayit has added Android to its Facebook app, allowing users of the social network to browse and recommend apps for Google's smartphone OS.
The Android Arcade, as it's known, promises the ability to search more than 15,000 apps from Android Market. YouTube videos will be added where available.
It also presents lists of apps based on what's being most recommended, shared and used, as well as the most recently added apps.
Android joins Mplayit's existing Facebook Arcades for iPhone, BlackBerry and regular mobile games.
According to Facebook's own stats, Mplayit's iPhone Arcade has more than 63,000 active users. The company will be hoping for similar uptake from Android users.
