But Android-based Seabird design will never see the light of day. Will it?
Mozilla Labs has taken the wraps off what it's calling an 'Open Web Concept Phone', code named Seabird.
The Android-based concept was seeded by Mozilla contributor Bill May early last year and has since been augmented by feedback from the community.
Among the ideas thrown into the hat are combining motion caption and projector technology to create a gesture-based user interface, and a form factor that combines 'aerodynamic, avian and decidedly feminine forms'.
In a footnote, Mozilla Labs says: "Seabird is a community-driven exploration and does not mean that Mozilla has plans to produce an OS or hardware at the moment."
'At the moment', eh?
