Opera Telecom is targeting US growth with Motricity’s mobile messaging platform, Fuel Gateway.
It wants to connect its customers into the US market without navigating operator systems itself. Motricity powers seven of the top 12 carriers in North America and claims its platform connects to over 98 per cent of the US mobile subscriber base.Gary Corbett CEO of Opera Telecom, said: “Avoiding the need to comply with all of the carriers’ various billing systems, gave us a faster time-to-market and a richer experience for our customers. It was critical for us to partner with the premier US mobile aggregator in our extension to the overseas market.”
Opera’s mobile marketing platform, Dragon, connects leading brands and media groups with their customers.
