Motorola prepares to raise Razr from the dead

Android-based re-boot to be unveiled today.

The Razr was, of course, one of the most successful phone families of all time. The first device was launched in 2004 and immediately grabbed attention for its thin clamshell design and machine-tooled aluminium form factor.

Over its four-year run, Razr sold more than 130 million units.

Now it's back as a 4G LTE Android phone on Verizon. Some pics have been released by Droidlife and frankly, it looks like any other high end Android touchscreen. But we'll see more within a few hours.
